TeleVideo Ships 24-Bit True Color High Resolution Flat Panel Thin Clients

TeleVideo TeleCLIENTs now with 24-bit true color support; offers healthcare industry cost effective high resolution imaging solutions for collaboration between healthcare professionals

San Jose, CA - August 5, 2003 - TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB: TELV) a worldwide leader in secure manageable thin client hardware is shipping flat panel and stand-alone thin clients capable of displaying true 24-bit color.

Combined with the benefits of security, manageability and cost effectiveness from TeleVideo thin clients, TeleCLIENTs now further support healthcare needs by offering a true 24-bit color solution ideally suited for viewing medical images for diagnostic collaboration between health care professionals.

TeleVideo's latest family of TeleCLIENTs offers 24-bit true color in all models with the VIA 533MHz processor. To support over 16 million color combinations or true color, software and hardware geared for 24-bit must match in order to display such high resolutions. TeleCLIENTs are engineered to fully support 24-bit output by combining software and hardware to match critical healthcare imaging requirements. High quality LG LCD flat panels designed for 24-bit color is found on both 15" and 17" TeleCLIENT integrated units.
