Merisel Addresses Growing Market for Thin-Client Computing by Offering TeleCLIENT to Authorized Partners

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 1999--TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB: TELV - news ) today announced that Merisel, Inc., a leading distributor of computer hardware and software products, will distribute the TeleVideo TeleCLIENT(TM) family of thin-client, Windows-based terminals to resellers throughout the United States.

The TeleCLIENT family enhances Merisel's thin-client initiative and addresses the increasing demand from value-added resellers (VARs) and solutions integrators (SI) for thin-client technology.
