TELEVIDEO JOINS CITRIX BUSINESS ALLIANCE PROGRAM TO EXPAND GLOBAL MARKETING EFFORTS
Companies to Promote Combined Benefits of TeleVideo's Thin Client products and Citrix Server-Based Computing Software
SAN JOSE, Calif - July 26, 1999 -TeleVideo, Inc. (OCT BB: TELV ), today announced that it has joined the Citrix® Systems, Inc.'s (Nasdaq: CTXS ) Business Alliance (CBA) program. Through the CBA program, TeleVideo will globally promote TeleVideo's TeleCLIENT™ family of thin client Windows®-based terminals in conjunction with Citrix MetaFrame™ server-based computing software. The Citrix Business Alliance program provides TeleVideo with new revenue opportunities, enhanced technical support, training and joint marketing programs. "Citrix server-based computing software enables companies to rapidly and cost-efficiently deploy Windows-based applications to users of our TeleCLIENT thin client terminals across the enterprise," said Dr. K.
