TeleVideo Unveils First Windows CE 3.0 Powered WBT

London, England - (BUSINESS WIRE) - June 13, 2001-Today at the Citrix iForum 2001 Conference, TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB: TELV ) introduced the TeleCLIENT TC7370, the first available Windows-Based Terminal to utilize the Microsoft® Windows CE 3.0 operating system. The TC7370 is also the second generation Windows-Based Terminal from TeleVideo which incorporates a 15.1-Inch, Digital TFT LCD display into one integrated design.

Combined with the enhanced capabilities of WinCE 3.0 and its all-in-one design, the TC7370 is a compelling solution for network computing needs. Environments such as healthcare, education, hotel and general office applications can benefit from the TC7370's performance and space saving design.

The TC7370 comes with a bright 15.1-Inch Digital LCD display for a sharp and brilliant display image as well as two built-in speakers that provide crisp stereo sound. The TC7370's slim design and small footprint allow it to be placed in several positions that maximize desktop space, including wall mounting for the ultimate desktop solution. The TC7370 comes with a VESA standard interface for safe optional wall mounting.

PERFORMANCE

Powered by a fast 300MHz Media GX1 National Semiconductor processor, the TC7370 offers enhanced performance with higher quality video and audio effects. The integrated display is a 15.1-Inch Digital TFT LCD flat panel that is bright, easy-to-see, and supports 16 bit high color. Networking capabilities include 10/100 BaseT Ethernet and TCP/IP support. Communication is achieved through either Microsoft's RDP 5.0 or Citrix ICA 6.0 protocols.

The TC7370 offers Microsoft's newest Windows CE 3.0 operating system that easily works with many server operating systems such as Microsoft Windows NT 4.0 TSE, 2000 Server, Citrix MetaFrame, MetaFrame XP and WinFrame. It also offers a suite of emulations such as TeleVideo TVI925/990, IBM 3270/5250, DEC VT52/100, Unix, and more.

With TeleVideo's TeleManager, remote management software, manage all TeleCLIENT products across local or wide area networks to deploy business applications to reduce Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).

Available models include TC7370, TC7370i with terminal emulation, TC7370w with IE 4.0 Browser, TC7370wi with terminal emulation and IE 4.0 Browser.
