TeleVideo Unveils Latest Windows Powered Thin Client
New York, (BUSINESS WIRE) - June 26, 2001-Today at the PC EXPO Conference, TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB:TELV) introduced the TeleCLIENT TC7370 Windows-Based Terminal. The TC7370 is Televideo's second generation Windows Powered thin client, powered by Microsoft's Windows CE 3.0 operating system and incorporating a 15.1-Inch, Digital TFT LCD display into a fully integrated design.
Combined with the enhanced capabilities of Windows CE 3.0 and its all-in-one design, the TC7370 is a compelling solution for network computing needs, enabling rapid deployment of line-of-business applications when integrated with server-based computing platforms such as Windows 2000 Server. Environments such as healthcare, education, hospitality and general office applications can benefit from the TC7370's performance and space saving design.
"We are pleased TeleVideo has chosen Windows CE 3.0 for the TC7370," said Keith White, senior director of the Embedded and Appliance Platforms Group at Microsoft Corp. "With the capabilities of Windows CE 3.0 the TC7370 provides a rich Windows Powered thin client solution that can be quickly deployed and easily managed while providing broad application support for line-of-business applications."
The TC7370 comes with a bright 15.1-Inch Digital LCD display for a sharp and brilliant display image as well as two built-in speakers that provide crisp stereo sound. The TC7370's slim design and small footprint allow it to be placed in several positions that maximize desktop space, including wall mounting for the ultimate desktop solution. The TC7370 comes with a VESA standard interface for safe optional wall mounting.
"The TC7370 offers exceptional quality, fast performance and terrific value. Without compromising quality, TeleVideo has introduced an integrated thin client solution that introduces more for less. We've included Microsoft's latest embedded operating system, Windows CE 3.0 and we use flat panels from LG.Philips LCD, the leader in LCD displays for a winning thin client solution," said Dr. K. Philip Hwang, Chairman and CEO. "The TC7370 is affordably priced and sized to be placed on any desktop, finally," said Dr. Hwang.
PERFORMANCE
