TeleVideo Awarded Government GSA Contract

Windows-Based Thin Client Solutions Made Available to Federal Agencies Under GSA Contract No. GS-35F-0281M

San Jose, CA - March 15, 2002 - TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB:TELV) a leading manufacturer of Thin Client hardware and software solutions, today announced it was awarded a five-year contract to market its products to the U.S. Federal Government.

Under the General Services Administration's IT Multiple Award Schedule, TeleVideo and it's authorized channel partners can market the full line of Windows-Based Thin Client and Text Terminal products to all 162 U.S. Federal agencies. Procurement professionals from agencies such as the Veteran's Administration can now purchase TeleVideo products under GSA contract number GS-35F-0281M. TeleVideo will be included in the GSA Advantage! website where procurement agents can login, locate and purchase products.

TeleVideo's TeleCLIENT family of Thin Client computing products allows IT Administrators to distribute to end-users desktop computing terminals that are secure and easy to manage from a server. By deploying Thin Clients, Federal agencies can lower ownership costs and increase return on investment since Thin Clients do not have moving parts that can wear out like traditional PCs. Thin Clients are also more secure since they do not have storage devices to introduce viruses or steal sensitive data.
