TeleVideo To Announce Flat Panel Thin Clients with Wireless-Touch Screen Solutions at COMDEX Fall 2001

San Jose, CA --(BUSINESS WIRE)--November 9, 2001-- On Monday November 12, 2001, at the COMDEX Fall 2001 Conference, TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB:TELV) will announce the TC7380 and TC7020 wireless-touch screen versions of TeleCLIENT Windows-Based Thin Client terminals.

The latest all-in-one LCD flat panel and stand-alone Thin Clients to be introduced, come with built-in hardware and software to support wireless LAN connectivity. Through a built-in mini PCI slot, both TC7380 flat panel and TC7020 stand-alone Thin Clients can support widely available wireless LAN options using the 802.11b wireless protocol. Their availability will make deployment much easier and cost effective for IT departments and businesses than conventional wired deployments.

Also, the all-in-one TC7380 LCD flat panel Thin Client comes with a touch screen display. The TC7380 utilizes a resistive touch screen that allows users to access application commands through touch activated prompts on the screen. This allows IT professionals and users in many industries such as point-of-sale, healthcare, financial and education to increase efficiency and productivity. The TC7020 stand-alone Thin Client also has built-in software that will support optional touch screen enabled monitors.
