TeleVideo to Unveil High Resolution Integrated Thin Client at COMDEX Fall 2002
New TeleCLIENT offers larger 17-Inch LCD display and 24-Bit true-color resolution
San Jose, CA - November 15, 2002 - TeleVideo, Inc (OTC BB:TELV) a leading manufacturer of desktop and wireless tablet Thin Clients will unveil a new larger 17-inch high resolution Integrated LCD Thin Client at COMDEX Fall 2002 in Las Vegas.
The TeleCLIENT TC7470 will offer healthcare and enterprise organizations a Thin Client desktop solution that combines the benefits of centralized, manageable and secured computing on a desktop device that offers a large integrated LCD display able to provide true color images in critical applications such as patient x-ray diagnostics.
Powered by the Microsoft Windows CE. NET operating system software, the TC7470 can display 24-Bit true color imaging on the integrated 17-Inch active matrix LCD display that supports screen resolutions up to 1280 x 1024. In addition, features such as Internet Explorer 5.5 Internet Browser, stereo sound, Microsoft RDP 5.1 and Citrix ICA 6.0 terminal protocols come standard. A full suite of terminal emulation software is also included for easy integration into existing legacy systems.
The TeleCLIENT TC7470 will also feature optional 802.11b wireless LAN connectivity via internal wireless LAN card, resistive touchscreen for touch activated applications and USB port supported external peripherals such smart cards and biometric security devices.
