TeleVideo Releases iTelePC™, The Fastest, Easiest Way To The Internet
Start surfing the net and sending e-mail in just seconds
LAS VEGAS – November 15, 1999 – TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB: TELV) today announced the release of the revolutionary iTelePC iT2000, the first dedicated plug-and- play Internet PC for home use. The iT2000 lets you send and receive e-mail, shop online, and access all of the information the World Wide Web has to offer. There is no set-up required – you'll be surfing the Net within minutes of opening the box!
The iT2000 is perfect for people who want to access the Internet, but don't have time to learn complicated installation procedures and software programs. The system's ‘plug-and-play' simplicity means you just plug it in and go. And the iT2000 includes Internet Explorer and a 56K modem, and is powered by Microsoft Windows CE, so it provides the same robust power for Internet access as desktop PCs costing two to three times more .
“The iTelePC iT2000 is the first system to address the market need for a dedicated instant internet box,” said Steph Rutel, Director of Marketing, TeleVideo. “Most home PCs are tied up for surfing the Internet making the PC unavailable for other uses. The iT2000 solves this problem because it was designed specifically for Internet users.”
Families that already have a home PC may find that adding an iT2000 to the household enables their children to access the Internet while a parent uses the home PC for work. No more arguments about who gets to use the computer!
The iTelePC features a 15” monitor and system integrated into a revolutionary all-in-one design. A 233 MHz Pentium-class processor and 16 Mb of upgradable SDRAM provides

The iT2000 has the power to bring the Internet into virtually every home with its easy installation and affordable single unit price of less than $400.00.
