Deploy, Configure and Manage TeleCLIENT™ Systems With TeleCLIENT Management Software From TeleVideo
TMS Optimizes The Fastest Thin-Clients On The Market Today
LAS VEGAS – November 16, 1999 – TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB: TELV) today released TeleCLIENT Management Software (TMS), enabling system administrators to deploy, configure and manage their TeleCLIENT thin-client systems. Compatible with the TC7000, TC7150, TC7170, TC7340 and TC7350 TeleCLIENT product lines, TMS provides three powerful and easy-to-use tools to centrally configure, remotely administer and upgrade every TeleCLIENT on a network.
There are frequently hundreds or even thousands of thin-client systems in every Fortune 1000 network. With TMS, MIS departments can now rapidly deploy new applications throughout the network, ensuring that all departments are up and running quickly and smoothly. TeleCLIENTS can now be remotely administered, ensuring productivity, reliability and security to users throughout the network environment. And TMS can upgrade the re-programmable flash disk in every TeleCLIENT from one centralized location, ensuring that every machine on the network has the latest configurations and is operating at its most optimal level.
“TeleVideo understands the thin-client market very well,” said Steph Rutel, Director of Marketing, TeleVideo . “Our customers expressed interest in being able to configure, manage, and upgrade systems remotely, and we responded with TeleCLIENT Management Software.”
TMS allows administrators to remotely configure every TeleCLIENT, utilizing industry standard Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP). By creating or editing ICA and RDP sessions, or configuring client network settings, administrators can get multiple offices up and running quickly, saving time and money throughout the enterprise.
TMS enables MIS departments to manage and diagnose TeleCLIENTs from one centralized location. A powerful, but simple graphical user interface promotes efficient thin-client management and lowers the total cost of ownership.
Administrators can now guarantee that every TeleCLIENT on the network has the most recent firmware, the latest enhancements and the most up-to-date terminal configurations. TMS also allows administrators to upgrade each TeleCLIENT's re-programmable flash disk from one centralized location.
With today's complicated and disparate corporate computing environments, TMS provides easy, powerful, centralized tools to manage every TeleCLIENT on the network. With value, experience and performance in mind, TeleVideo continues to provide innovative solutions for server-based computing needs. TMS is licensed on a per-seat basis, and is available through authorized Citrix Resellers and TeleVideo distributors.
