TeleVideo TeleCLIENTs Reaches 1GHz with Transmeta

San Jose, CA – October 13, 2003 – TeleVideo, Inc. (OTC BB: TELV) a pioneer in thin client computing, will be demonstrating the TeleCLIENT TC8550, the fastest TeleCLIENT yet. The TC8550, integrated 15inch LCD thin client with the Transmeta Crusoe 1GHz processor and embedded with the Microsoft Windows XPe operating system will be demonstrated at the Citrix iForum show on October 13, 2003 in Orlando, FL.

First to offer a sleek, integrated LCD thin client design with the Transmeta processor, TeleCLIENTs will offer speeds of up to 1GHz. The Transmeta Crusoe 5800 CPUs were designed for high performance, minimal power consumption and low voltage requirements, which are ideal for thin clients. “The innovative line of new TeleCLIENTs leverages the many benefits of our Crusoe processor, “ said Art Swift, Senior Vice President of Marketing for Transmeta Corporation. “Users will appreciate the impressive performance, small form factor and quiet operation.”

TeleVideo will begin offering TeleCLIENT thin clients with the Transmeta 667MHz and 1GHz CPUs in Q1 of 2004. Evaluations are available now. The TeleCLIENT TC7040, 7540 and TC7740 will include the Transmeta Crusoe 667MHz CPUs with the Microsoft Windows CE.net operating system. Microsoft Windows XPe will see a performance increase with The TeleCLIENT TC8050, TC8550 and TC8750, accelerated by the powerful 1GHz Crusoe processor.
