TeleVideo provides a standard one-year warranty on all products. To learn further about our warranty program, please carefully read below.
Warranty and RMA Policy Procedures
Limited Warranty
Under the Warranty Program, TeleVideo, Inc. warrants to the original purchaser of our products when purchased from an authorized TeleVideo reseller, the merchandise will be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase.
TeleVideo's obligation under this warranty is limited to the repairing or replacing, at TeleVideo's discretion, the part or parts of the product that prove defective in material or workmanship.
Customers who experience problems with their TeleVideo products should contact TeleVideo's technical support department. Technical support will then determine if the product requires warranty repair and will direct the purchaser to the c ustomer service department to obtain an RMA number (see Return Material Authorization procedures).

Limitations of Warranty
The Warranty does not extend to:
Any product which has been damaged as a result of accident, misuse, abuse, disaster, faulty maintenance, incorrect installation, modification, alteration, or improper repair by a third party other than TeleVideo or an authorized TeleVideo reseller.

Any losses or damage incurred during shipment to or from Buyer. |

Products that have been exposed to improper environment, excessive or inadequate heating or air conditioning. |

Any defect of the product caused by electrical power failures, surges
or other electrical irregularities. |
 |
Any defect of the product caused by external equipment. |
 |
Any incompatibility of the product with subsequent technical
innovations and regulations. |
 |
Any product on which the serial number has been altered or removed. |
This limited warranty is in lieu of all other express warranties that now or hereafter might otherwise arise with respect to this product. Implied warranties, including those of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose shall:

Have no greater duration than as expressed herein. |

Terminate automatically at the expiration of such period. |
The purchaser's exclusive remedy will be repair or replacement as provided above. Incidental or consequential damages arising from breach of any express or implied warranty are not the responsibility of TeleVideo, Inc. and to the extent permitted by law, are hereby excluded both for property damage and personal injury damage.
TeleVideo will not be liable for any loss of profits, loss or use of facilities or equipment, or other indirect, incidental or consequential damages. System configuration, software, application, customer data, and operator control of the system, affect product performance as well. While TeleVideo products are considered to be compatible with many systems, the specific functional implementation of the product by the customer may vary. Therefore, the suitability of a product for a specific purpose or application must be determined by the customer and is not warranted by TeleVideo, Inc.
Within Warranty
The customer can request Warranty service when the product shows defect in the workmanship and/or material under normal conditions. This limited warranty applies to parts and labor for 1 year. Repair or replacement parts, at TeleVideo's discretion, will be furnished on an exchange basis and will be either new or reconditioned. All replaced parts or products will become property of TeleVideo Inc. Proof of purchase must be provided showing the purchase date, product serial number, and the seller's name. The customer will be responsible for all shipping, packing, and insurance costs to TeleVideo when warranty service is required. Original packaging must be used for shipping. TeleVideo is not liable for damages occurred during shipping. When the product arrives, TeleVideo will review the problems documented on the RMA form and verify by testing the units. Units will either be repaired or replaced. Customers are liable for all parts and labor, including all shipping costs accrued both to and from TeleVideo.
Obtaining Warranty Service
Prior to calling the Technical Support Hotline, the customer must have all the necessary information ready, i.e. proof of purchase, type of product and details of problem encountered. If Technical Support deems the product defective, the customer must then contact TeleVideo's Customer Service Department for details of how and where to ship the product for warranty service. Out of Warranty
TeleVideo provides service for "out-of-warranty" units. Customers are liable for all parts and labor, including all shipping costs accrued both to and from TeleVideo.
Return Material Authorization Procedures
Request an RMA (Return Material Authorization) number by either filling out the RMA request form, emailing, calling or faxing our Customer Service Department To obtain warranty service, one will be required to provide:
1. Name, address, and contact numbers.
2. Model name and serial number of product.
3. Original sales receipt/ proof of purchase.
4. Precise and complete description of failure/defect.
The customer is responsible for shipping costs, ensuring that the product is insured during shipping. Original packaging must be used for shipping. TeleVideo is not responsible for further damage made to the unit due to inadequate packaging. The RMA number must be displayed on the box and all the above necessary information must be enclosed with the product prior to shipment. Any shipment without an RMA number will be refused by TeleVideo's Receiving Department. Click here to fill out RMA application form.
TeleCLIENT Warranty Plan
Giving customers what they need. Your purchase of TeleVideo's TeleCLIENT thin client products are protected with a 12 - month warranty period. If you would like to maximize your protection for your TeleCLIENT products, please complete the REGISTRATION FORM and submit it to TeleVideo within 30 days from the date of purchase. It's free, it's easy and all your stand alone products (non-integrated with LCD monitors) including the TC7020, TC7030, TC7040, TC8030, TC8040, TC8050, TC5020, TC5030 and TC5040 will be warranted for an additional two years, for a total of three years from the date of purchase with registration. the additional two year warranty offer is honored for email registrations only. Upon receipt of your registration form, we will send you via email a confirmation of your extended protection. The two year additional warranty for LCD integrated thin clients, such as TC7380, TC7530, TC7730, TC7540, TC7740, TC8530, TC8730, TC8540, TC8740, TC8550, TC8550, TC8750 are available for purchase only. We do not offer an extended warranty for the MC3000 and other MC series thin clients. Please contact your local TeleVideo reseller for more information.
